Apex Legends x Cyberpunk Crossover: Wildcard LTM, Cyberware, and Skippy SMG

The Outlands have officially collided with the neon-drenched streets of Night City. Running from July 14 to August 4, 2026, the Apex Legends x Cyberpunk crossover brings the iconic worlds of Cyberpunk 2077 and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners into the Apex games.

From game-changing cybernetic abilities to talking firearms, here is everything you need to know about the Wildcard limited-time event.

The Wildcard LTM: Welcome to E-District

The center stage of this collaboration is the Wildcard LTM, which completely overhauls the E-District map and introduces high-tech gameplay mechanics. Visually, E-District has undergone a massive Cyberpunk facelift: massive neon skyscrapers, towering holographic koi fish floating in the sky, and glitching advertisements from greedy mega-corporations. During the event, the map rotation updates every 90 minutes.

Cyberware and the Risk of Cyberpsychosis

In the Wildcard LTM, players can loot and equip active Cyberware items directly inspired by CD PROJEKT RED’s franchise. However, plugging in too much chrome carries a steep price.

Equipped Cyberware Abilities

• Sandevistan: Grants users high-speed dash capabilities in any direction. Connecting two dashes together allows you to rapidly close the gap on enemies, evade incoming fire, or escape to pop a shield.

• Blackwall Breach: Allows players to temporarily slip into the Net, turning invisible and moving to a better tactical position. Upon exiting the Net, your Legend releases an EMP blast that disrupts enemy shields and highlights nearby hostiles.

The Catch: Cyberpsychosis

Every time you activate your Cyberware, your Cyber Load meter increases. If you push your body past its limits and fill the meter, you will trigger Cyberpsychosis.

⚠️ Cyberpsychosis Status Effects: While suffering from cyberpsychosis, you receive massive movement speed and melee damage buffs. However, you are completely locked out of using firearms, standard abilities, shields, and grenades.

To lower your Cyber Load and prevent or cure Cyberpsychosis, you must hunt down Immunoblockers or use standard Syringes scattered across the map.

Skippy Joins the Apex Games

One of the most beloved Easter eggs from Cyberpunk 2077 has arrived as a Mythic skin. Skippy, the AI-driven, smart-talking handgun, is available as the Mythic Skippy Alternator Skin.

The skin features custom-recorded dialogue, reactively commenting on your performance, throwing out jokes, and celebrating your eliminations. Naturally, it keeps its legendary target modes: Puppy-Loving Pacifist and Stone-Cold Killer. Players can also use Exotic Shards to customize Skippy with alternative skins, kill animations, and unique visual effects.

Free Rewards, Challenges, and Twitch Drops

Whether you plan on spending Apex Coins or playing completely free-to-play, there are plenty of cosmetics to unlock during the crossover.

Earn “Eddies” for Free Cosmetics

By completing event-specific daily challenges, players will earn Eddies (Night City’s local currency). Spend your Eddies in the limited-time Event Reward Shop to unlock:

• Epic Valkyrie Skin: Arasaka Flight Protocol

• Epic Mirage Skin: Kang-Tao Specter

• Additional items including Apex Packs, loading screens, and Legend trackers.

Twitch Drops

Link your EA and Twitch accounts and watch any eligible Apex Legends streamer between July 14 and August 4 to unlock exclusive cosmetics:

• Samurai Weapon Charm: Watch for 30 minutes.

• Data Diver Tracker Set (Axle): Watch for 60 minutes. This tracker features a custom skin for Axle inspired by Edgerunners favorite, Lucy.

The Cyberpunk Premium Collection

If you want to fully deck out your roster, the premium Cyberpunk Collection features eight legendary Legend skins and eight weapon skins modeled after the characters and aesthetics of the franchise.
